FEBRUARY 1982
Rasel Industries inaugurated by founder Mr. P.G. Selvaraj at SIDCO Industrial Estate, Ambattur, Chennai.
OCTOBER 1988
Award of components from Mando — the beginning of a 35+ year partnership.
JUNE 1994
Company expanded with procurement of additional machines and employment of qualified engineers.
AUGUST 1998
Further expansion with latest CNC technology for Brake & Carburetor Components. Three latest techno CNC lathes installed.
DECEMBER 2000
ISO 9002:1994 certification achieved from DNV — first formal quality recognition.
JUNE 2002
Cell System concept introduced for guaranteed superior CNC Lathe output for M/s. Mando Brakes.
DECEMBER 2003
Upgraded ISO 9002:1994 to ISO 9001:2000 — continuous quality improvement commitment.
DECEMBER 2005
Launch of "Achieve 100 PPM" quality initiative — zero defect manufacturing goal.
APRIL 2007
Imported machine 'Gilde Meister' installed. Achieved 100 PPM through Hyundai Motors India audit with 78% score.
JUNE 2012
Company name changed from Rasel Industries to Rasel Indo Mech. ISO/TS 16949:2009 certificate achieved from TÜV Nord.
APRIL 2015
Achieved 100 PPM through re-auditing from M/s. Mando Automotive India Pvt. Ltd with 82% score.
MARCH 2018
Landmark: Launched fully automated Hard Chrome Plating Plant with online PLC & SCADA monitoring. IATF 16949:2016 certification achieved from TÜV Nord.
NOVEMBER 2018
Wipro selected Rasel for Hard Chrome Plating. Wipro rods proved 360 hours of Salt Spray. Wipro & Caterpillar approved our plating plant.
2019-2020
TAFE approved for piston rods. SAPL approved for screw jack machining. Special welding introduced.
MAY 2022
Proved MOC Pistons for E-Vehicle — expanding into electric vehicle component manufacturing.
MARCH 2023
Approved for M&M MOC Pistons. Brakes India Private Limited approved for Hard Chrome Plating.
2024–2025
Mitutoyo Surface Roughness Machine (May 2024), Super Finish Machine (Jul 2024), Bhagwansons CG-200 (Aug 2024), Conveyor Method in Grinding (Jan 2025) — continuous modernisation.
